I currently work on a visualisation of radiation values from the public SPEEDI network provided by
the Disaster Prevention and Nuclear Safety Network for Nuclear Environment of Japan

This monitoring network is concentrated on the surrounding area of nuclear facilities, so it is not quite uniformly distributed over the country.

Current Data as csv: 2011-2-18-23-36.csv

Current public ( realtime ) data can be accessed by: http://www.bousai.ne.jp/eng/index.html
